My Weekend

What did you do in the Weekend?                                                                                                                            On Friday night it was fireworks night.  Did you set off some fireworks? If so, Did you like the shapes and colours they made? In the Weekend I went to Margaret Mayhew playground.  At Margaret Mayhew playground there are really big slides and also lots of ropes to play on.  In the Weekend I also went to my friends house. Fathers Day

What did you do for Fathers Day? I made my dad a coffee, and helped my sister make him breakfast. My brother, sister and I all made my dad a Fathers day card, and my mum helped us get him a present. After  we let my dad chose what we did, we went to the beach and spent a few hours there. Then for dinner, since it was Fathers Day, I made my family dinner and dessert!

Kindness Day

Today is September the 1st, also know as the 1st day of spring. Something you may not know about today though is that today is Random act of Kindness day. For Random act of Kindness day, you do something kind. Today I made my parents a card. I also fed the chickens and collected some of their eggs. Everyday of the year is Kindness day because you should always be kind, but today you have to be extra kind to everyone.  The Random act of Kindness you do could be anything, it could even just be giving your parents/family a hug. What Random act of Kindness are you going to do today? 

 

                      

Making Dinner

 

Yesterday night I made some dinner. For dinner I cooked some steak, potatoes, garlic mushrooms and then I made a salad. Making dinner was really fun.

Prototec Achievement

 

This is a certificate I got from Prototec. The last few days I have been doing Prototec, and getting better and better. Prototec is a maths site, you chose a level then you answer a certain amount of questions. I have to answer 40 questions.  Today I got 100% in 2 minuets and 26 seconds, that is the best time I have got so far.

For reading as you may know, we have been looking into the Olympics. (so doing Olympic related activity's) For this activity I had to invent a new Olympic event, by combining the features of 3 current ones. I combined Figure Skating, Fencing, and Football. The way this event works is you are Figure Skating, but holding a fencing sword to get past the other opponent, while kicking a football trying to score a goal in the net.

Amazing Olympic Uniforms

 

 

This is a slideshow that I made showing how the New Zealand Olympic Uniforms have changed. I made this slideshow because over the past few weeks for reading we have been looking into the Olympics. We have been looking into the Olympics because as you may not know, the Olympics have been happening over in Tokyo. The Olympics have finished now, but in about a week the Paralympics will be starting.  You may not have been keeping up with how many medals New Zealand has, so to tell you they have 7 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals.  The Paralympics are the Olympics but instead, people with a disability will be competing.
